Local musician Rafnar Orri Gunnarsson performed his album “Voda” this past weekend at the Hof in Akureyri, and the Samkomuhúsinu in Husavik. This performance was accompanied by artwork created specifically for the album art by Dušana Pavlovičová and featured lilys, dragonfies, flowers and other items found in nature. Rafnar performed a set of 6 songs, where he either played the piano or the guitar and sang about . He was accompanied by a cast of musicians from either Husavik, Reykjavik, and even as far as Germany that were dressed in a variety of outfits, and played guitar, piano, trumpet, trombone, guitar and violin. For a few songs, Rafnar was accompanied on stage by a Martje Sara Lotje, and childrens choir from the local school, which made the songs come alive.
