No Milk Today

“No milk today, my love has gone away” sang the Herman’s Hermits back in 1967, and that is true today as well, at least here in Húsavík. Due to road closures and bad weather in the past days, no milk has been delivered to town.

“We don’t know if we will get a shipment of milk today, it depends on if the road through Víkurskarð will open,” says Helga Soffía Bjarnadóttir who works at Krambúðin supermarket.
